How to choose your first Truthlocks use case across 40 industries

Explore banking, telecom, IT, government, healthcare, and education examples, then use four questions to choose a practical first workflow.

Truthlocks now has an industry directory covering 40 sectors and 120 detailed subcategory use cases. Its purpose is to help you recognize a familiar workflow and understand which records, people, and tools belong in it. The examples describe ways to apply the platform; they are not claims that every workflow is preconfigured or independently certified.

Start with the record people already exchange

A bank reviews a financial statement. A training provider issues a certificate. A telecom team approves a network change. These situations use different language, but each needs an answer to related questions: who supplied this information, has it changed, and which decision or action relied on it?

Choose a recurring record rather than trying to automate an entire department at once. That makes it easier to define an issuer, a recipient, a review process, and an exception path.

Six examples to make the choice concrete

Answer four questions before implementation

  1. What is being stated? Define the document, credential, or reported action precisely enough that another person can interpret it.
  2. Who stands behind it? Choose the issuing organization or acting identity and the people responsible for managing it.
  3. What should a recipient check? Separate source and integrity checks from independent assessment of the real-world claim.
  4. What happens when something is wrong? Define who handles changed documents, revoked records, missing evidence, and unavailable services.

Match the workflow to the platform

Use digital records to issue supported signed statements, verification to check them, and action receipts for configured events. Add agent identity or orchestration when software performs the work, and governance when you need to manage permissions and review responsibilities.

Features depend on your plan, configuration, and connected services. Review the data involved and the operational requirements before relying on the workflow.

Use the directory as a working guide

Search for an industry or a task, filter by category, and follow a subcategory link to its detailed example. Each industry page describes the record to create, the evidence to review, and the resulting benefit for the team. Share that exact link with the people who will issue, inspect, or administer the records.

When the first workflow is clear, use the workspace guide or discuss your use case with Truthlocks to plan the next step.
