1. Write the exact statement. Include the facts you want recorded in the text, not only its display title.
2. Review your identity and disclosure. Personal statements are self-issued. They do not establish authority to speak for a company or institution. Actual text stays private unless you explicitly publish it.
3. Create the record. Truthlocks signs its content fingerprint through the existing issuance service. Your account’s registration allowance applies.
4. Share the proof link. Recipients can inspect public evidence without signing up. They can run a current check and alter a separate demonstration copy without changing your signed statement.

What the checks mean

A matching fingerprint means the bytes match the recorded content. A verified signature establishes a signature/key relationship. Neither alone proves that a statement is true, that the signer has institutional authority, or that the content is legally valid.

Proof Frame reports signature checks, issuer information, record status and transparency inclusion separately. Missing evidence and service outages remain visible. An old preview or badge is never presented as a current verification result.

Keep control of disclosure

Only explicitly published statements have a readable text editor. Existing files that were registered by fingerprint are not reconstructed or uploaded. Visitors may compare a file locally on their device.

Public proofs are not automatically indexed. You can hide their descriptive details and statement text in your collection. Signed fingerprints and copies already saved by recipients or social platforms cannot be recalled.

For organisations

Create an explicitly published statement under your workspace issuer, or retain its full text privately. Version references are signed with the statement; previous records remain available. Personal self-issued records are not a substitute for business onboarding or independently verified issuer assurance.
